How much does Alyra Studio cost?
$2,499 per year, as a flat licence. There is no per-render charge, no per-image fee and no cap on how many models you upload or how many stills, turntables or spec sheets you export.
Can I open a JewelCAD .jcd file without JewelCAD?
Yes. Alyra Studio reads JewelCAD .jcd files directly in the browser, rebuilds the surfaces, booleans and stones, and can export a Rhino .3dm with a layer per material. No JewelCAD licence is required.
Which file formats does Alyra Studio support?
Alyra Studio imports JewelCAD .jcd, Rhino .3dm, .glb, .gltf, .fbx, .obj and .stl models, plus its own .pmat material, .dmat and .vjson scene presets.
Do we need a powerful computer or render farm?
No. Studio runs in the browser on any reasonably modern desktop or laptop — there's nothing to install, no GPU workstation to buy and no render farm to maintain.
Can Alyra Studio make 360° turntable videos of jewelry?
Yes. Studio exports 360° turntables as MP4 video and stills as high-resolution PNG, and Batch Render All captures every standard view of a ring, earring or pendant in one run.
Can our whole team use it?
Yes. The licence covers named accounts for your team, so design, marketing and sales can each sign in and work from the same shared presets.
Who owns the images we produce?
You do, entirely. Every still and turntable you export carries full commercial rights with no additional licence fee or usage restriction.
What if we'd rather you did the rendering?
Our studio team still takes on full production work for collections and campaigns. Talk to us and we'll quote it separately from the Studio licence.
